“Teenage love… It reminds me of my mom and dad… They were so in love” Sunny frowned and looked out to the field, she was trying not to cry. Sunny zoned out at whatever was going on. She shook her head and felt like she was in her nightmare again. Sunny fell but caught onto the branch before she fell to the ground.
"Oh…" She patted Sunny’shead, when, all of a sudden, she was patting air. Chaerin looked down, and, in relief, Sunny managed to catch the lower branch instead of crashing down. Chaerin swiftly went on the same branch, and examined Sunny. She seemed alright. "Yah, Soonkyu-sunbae, don’t scare me like that. If you would have fallen, they would have said that it was my fault." Chaerin was a detetion regular, a rebellious student and a "tagged" deliquent. If Sunny would have been hurt, the arrow would have been directly pointed to her.
“I don’t like fangirls.” Myungsoo pouted as the waitress came back with a cup of water, her face flushed. She slipped it to him and bowed before rushing off. He sighed before fiddling with his spoon. Making up his mind, he quickly reached for another spoon of the ice as he succeeded before putting in his mouth, grinning.
"Yah, why you are taking a second bite of my shaved ice?" She eyed him protecting her baby. No one was permitted to touch Lee Chaerin’s food. Giving a bite to someone was a great heartbreak, well not really, but still, people shouldn’t try to touch a girl’s food. "Your fangirl has become a tomato. She is all red, and glancing at you. Maybe, hm…you should ask her for her number.Who knows what would it lead you to? You can become a cold-heart casanova?"
“Manga’s are cool… I read Vampire Knight, Death Note and Black Butler” Sunny flipped around and swung her torso off the branch and hung like a bat. “Your really smart actually. Your whole lecture speech thing really surprised me. That was actually cool.” Sunny still stayed like a bat and watched people underneath them. A couple people traded drugs, and then a couple went under the tree and started to make out. “Ew…” Sunny sat up and climbed higher. “there is a couple down there. I just want to give them privacy.”
"Vampire Knight, interesting. Death Note, incredible. Kuroshitsuji, nice.” Chaerin chuckled as she used the japanese title of the last one. Learning Japanese was one of her only ‘challenge’ to accomplish in a near future. She already had French and English. Chaerin rolled her eyes in disbelief. “I prefer to be called wise than smart. Smart is more like intellectual, and I’m not an intellectual person. You are…I think you don’t understand what I mean…I understand myself…” She looked away, before turning her gaze upon the couple Sunny spotted. Chaerin chuckled, and looked at the drug dealers impressed. This school really had everything. From geniuses to delinquents. Every single thing. “Let them be, and look at something else, sunbae.” She chuckled again. “Love, love, love. Teenage love, eh?” Chaerin said to herself.
“Outside is a free place.” Sunny stated. She looked at Chaerin. “It’s so fascinating.” Sunny sighed and stretched. “If you love to play outside and stuff…Why do you seem so cold?” Sunny asked, finally getting the question out about CL’s personality..
(ooc: It’s understandable. I was talking about an an american football.)
"Because inside it isn’t?…Oh yes," she nodded after realizing the statement. "The rules…yet…freedom is a myth rather inside or outside." Chaerin passed a hand in her hair and fixed her glasses. "Freedom is a myth, because, in order to have freedom, we need the total absence of rules; however, we need rules to make the world function. Freedom is nice, but fake. We are never free if there is an institution in power." At Sunny’s question, the blonde shrugged, and faded in her silence. She had no idea how to answer to that. "Because…like manga culture says…I fall in the categories of the ‘deres’." Chaerin looked the older one for a moment. "I like to read a few mangas, because they, sometimes, have answers to life or are my written and drawn thoughts…" She sighed. "I’m cold, but I can be warm if you give me the time."
I’ll have to disagree on that Chaerin… People are one of the best ways to vent about things..
People change constantly…you never know who to really trust. People change like the weather…sometimes the most unpredictable people are the one you can rely on. Life is unexpected…and I rather be convinced on a few things before venting about everything.
(/awkwardly hugs back) It’s alright..And I’m the first person you’ve hugged? Wow… No offence to that. I’m just kinda surprised at that.
I…I…I don’t give hugs. (/explains) I don’t usually give attention to people. I don’t acknowledge people’s existence often. I’m cold to others. I have a big emotional barrier. I stay away from people. I try not to connect or interact with people…I keep my distance…Ever since I was seperate from my original family…I’ve decided that keeping a distance was a great way of living.
Yoona hung the new orders she took next to the kitchen. “Where are my orders?!” she harshly asked to the cooks, having waited almost 20 minutes for orders she took a while ago. She had to return to the tables every other minute to apologize for taking so long. It was incredibly busy today, for some odd reason. A sigh left Yoona’s lips, glancing at the wall clock behind her. Only a few more hours until her shift was over.
Her eyes were suddenly covered, her vision being taken away from her. She jumped, startled from the sudden action. The voice was familiar, probably Chaerin. Turning around and taking off the other female’s hands off her eyes, she saw that her guess was correct. “Oh hey,” she greeted. She and Chaerin weren’t that major of friends, just acquaintances. Same grade, same work place - that’s all that allowed them to see each other so much. If wasn’t for that, they would even speak to each other.
She chuckled lightly seeing Yoona in this state, while the counter regulars were served, the customers in the rest of the restaurant were waiting for their orders. Seeing the waiters and waitresses fuss around and apologize was a new temprary source of amusement to her eyes. Seeing Yoona like this was even a greater source of entertainment, because she went to see and talk to the cooks. An amazing view, that was for sure.
Clearing her throat and letting go of the other, Chaerin returned to her normal self, but in a less frosty self, and went straigght to the point. “Hi,” she greeted back. “Yoona, what’s a friend?” She asked afterwards. She did not want to start other conversations that might lead to some amnesia of her purpose. She nudge the other, and smirked. “By the way, you are giving quite a spectacle. I can assure you that.” Before taking one of her orders, and sliding it on the counter to a customer. The art of sliding dishes from one place to the other…mastered. A very useful technique for a counter clerk.
Sunny nodded and dodged a couple footballs. She got shoved into a locker once though. “YAH! WATCH IT!” She shoved them back. She kept walking afterwards. “Aish, stupid fucks.” Sunny walked out of the school and went to a massive tree. She climbed up and layed on a branch.
“This is my special place..When I can’t handle things. I come here. I even come here at night. I like to believe that no one can touch me or harm me.. Because I’m so high above everyone else.” She looked at Chaerin. “Come on up. Don’t be afraid. The tree is safe and easy to climb!” She smiled. Her mood changed again. What’s going on with her?
While Sunny was dodging to footballs, Chaerin caught one of the flying balls, and threw it back at out of the practicing players on the field. “Hey ladies, throw it well. Work it,” she joked at the football boys. She smirked at them, and continued to follow the boy cut girl in front of her. Arrived at the tree, Chaerin eyed Sunny questionably, before following her again. She jumped to catch a branch, and, “ninja-like”, she climbed up siting next to the junior and looking at the Degrassi backyard view offered to her.
"Wow…not bad for a school. The outside is nice…I should do a sport…" Chaerin smiled to herself, and turned her gaze to Sunny. "Your favorite place, before winter, though. I doubt you want to climb up during snowy days. WInter equals indoor. You’ll have to find a secret favorite place inside the school," said the younger one with a chuckle. "OH, by the way, the one of the last things I would be scared of is to climb up a tree. No joke. I love to play outside and stuff."
(ooc: didn’t take them has the round black and white “soccer” ball, unless you were talking about them. the brown “american football” ones…)
Actually…… Those are for my Bipolar… I was diagnosed after my parents died in a car crash…Which I witnessed it all..They said that was the main cause for it… (/frowns and rubs head)…I forget who..But someone and I figured out that she abuses me because she wishes that I should be dead, instead of her sister…
I don’t think that this is a funny thing to say…your case is really serious. Like…really serious. My fear just went to level 1000.
"Friendship (noun) 1. The emotions or conduct of friends; the state of being friends. 2. A relationship between friends." This is the definition you get from the dictionary. The intellectual way of talking about this concept. In reality…what is friendship? Chaerin felt weird every time she gain a new friend in this school. The students around here were all facing problems, and she felt, actually, attracted and ‘accepted’. The reason why Chaerin was trying to find the definition of friendship was simply, because of her English class and the book they were reading. That book. That book was making her think lately about many things.
Walking to the Dot on this Saturday morning, Chaerin open the doors like if a boss had arrived to his HQ. She smiled at the manager, and noticed one of the waitress of the bistro. Her name was Yoona. Yoon and her were, both, sophomores at Degrassi, and worked, both, at the Dot. Basically, they were bound to become friends one day or another, right?
Chaerin, flicking her fringe, walked to the girl, and put her hands on Yoona’s eyes. “Guess who it is?” she said cheerfully. Maybe Yoona could help her out. Yoona was one of the best ressources for academic works, because she was one of the smarty pants of the school with her nice IQ.
Don’t worry. I believe you. (/smiles brightly now)
That’s good. If you believe me, I live. Well…I live better once you are safe as well. Because of your abuse…because of your abuse…(/smiles disappears gradually) because of your abuse, you take antidepressants and cut yourself…The situation got to stop, ‘cause your “murdering” yourself slowly…
